[KOREAN LANGUAGE] Did you know that Korean use Chinese character?

Hello!

Today I'm gonna explain one thing about Korean language.

As you can see in the title, this article may be for who use Chinese character.

Korea has used Chinese character before Korean letter was invented and even after. Since Korean letter Hangul was first invented in 1443, I'm talking about a long, long time. And even though Korea invented our own letter, Korea still used Chinese character until the end of 1900's.

Anyway, in contemporary Korea, even though we don't usually use the Chinese character which is called 'Hanja 漢字' in Korea, we still use words which could be written in Hanja.

I think that's enough for history lesson today.
Now I want to show you which are Hanja words from EXID lyrics.

Let's start with 'Lady', '내일(來日)해'.

[LE's 1st rap]
아직도 난 네 앞에 서 있지
모면(謀免)하고 싶은 맘 커져 있지
I Can Feel About Ur Feeling
이런 네가 미워 Can’t You Feel It?
뭐가 그리 급(急)해 No No No
대화(對話)조차 못해 No No No
내가 널 붙잡을 시도(試圖)조차 못하게 구네
치사(恥事)해 진짜 너 왜 이렇게 못돼

And this is 'Updown' '위아래'

[LE's 1st rap]
난 몰라. 순진(純眞)한 척 하는 네 동공(瞳孔)
날 네 맘대로 들었다가는 놓고
then i feel loco. oh oh
날 미치게 만들어 강제(強制) 탑승(搭乘)한 roller.
co coaster. su such a monster

OK. This is it for today. I hope you like it!
