[SLANG] EXID aka 짤 부자? 움짤? What do these mean?

Hello!
Today I'm telling you about '짤[jjal]', '움짤[umjjal]'.
I think many of you who are studying Korean are already familiar with these words. But not many of you know what they actually mean.

First, '짤' and '움짤' are slang, but not bad words because even on a radio show, people say them.
Let's watch.

                     EXID is known for '짤' rich.
And after that, they're talking about their '짤' they already know like these.

"I don't want to WORK!"

"I wish you were NEVER born."

And on this video, Hani says '움짤'.

Obviously '움짤' means GIF as you know.
But where were these common slangs from?

Back to the beginning of Internet era, there was a Korean website called 'Digital Camera inside', or 'DC inside'. This site was all about the digital camera and digital pictures. 
So the boards on the site were all called 'Gallery'. You know what 'Gallery' is, right? If you want to write on this board, you have to upload more than a picture which was taken by digital camera. If you don't, administrator on the site just cut out your writing. 
But not everyone had a digital camera back then, and many people just want to simply talk, so people started upload random, meaningless pictures. And these random, meaningless pictures are getting more humorous. 

Therefore, '짤', sometimes '짤방[jjalbang]', is from '짤림 방지', which means 'keeping from being cut out'. 
And '움짤' is from '움직이는 짤림 방지', which means 'acting 짤'.

As you can see, a fan told Hyelin to come over to a birthday party in her dream.
And Hyelin answered to that, 'I would give you poop in your dream.'

What the heck? We already know Hyelin's little... cute? (yeah, just let it slide)
But she seems little serious, right?
Because that's a thing from Korean culture.
Let me explain.

It's called '해몽(解夢)', pronounced as [haemong]. Basically, it's dream reading.
Since a long, long time ago, some kinds of dreams were explained as a prediction. I first assumed that this dream reading was from old China culture, but I googled a little, it turned out I was wrong. Someone says it's existed since old Greece like the Odyssey. And from one of the US TV shows I watched, a Colombian actress talked about her dream, which means bad omen in her hometown. So I guess it's really old, worldwide thing. Some of you may have heard about this.
And this is superstition, I may say. So I hope no one takes this too seriously.

So I just want to tell you some common dreams in Korea.
(This list is from Wikipedia and I added a little.)

In your dream,

• stepping on poop, meaning 'good luck, fortune'
• falling from a high place, meaning 'getting taller'
• seeing a pig, meaning 'fortune, mostly about money'
• yourself dying or killing someone, meaning 'good luck'
• seeing dragon, tiger, fruit, flower or some mysterious things and got pregnant person around you, meaning 'expecting a baby and the baby's character'
• being chased by someone or something, meaning 'failure, frustration'
• killing yourself, meaning 'new start'

[KOREAN LANGUAGE] Did you know that Korean use Chinese character?

Hello!

Today I'm gonna explain one thing about Korean language.

As you can see in the title, this article may be for who use Chinese character.

Korea has used Chinese character before Korean letter was invented and even after. Since Korean letter Hangul was first invented in 1443, I'm talking about a long, long time. And even though Korea invented our own letter, Korea still used Chinese character until the end of 1900's.

Anyway, in contemporary Korea, even though we don't usually use the Chinese character which is called 'Hanja 漢字' in Korea, we still use words which could be written in Hanja.

I think that's enough for history lesson today.
Now I want to show you which are Hanja words from EXID lyrics.

Let's start with 'Lady', '내일(來日)해'.
